The A3 Foresight Program on 'Sub-10 nm Wires; New Physics and Chemistry', operated by three-country funding agencies (Japan Society for Promotion of Science, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Korean Science and Engineering Foundation) and The Surface Science Society of Japan (SSSJ) will jointly organize an international symposium above mentioned. The symposium will be held on 5-7 July, 2010 at Hongo Campus of The University of Tokyo, Japan. The symposium is aimed to present and discuss the latest research on nano-materials/-structure such as graphene, nanotubes, dots, surface/interfaces, topological insulators, molecular structures, etc. and methodology for studying their structures and properties. The symposium will be a single oral session and poster sessions. The expected number of participants is 100-150. All of you, including members and non-members of The A3 Foresight Program and The Surface Science Society of Japan, are encouraged to participate in, and present and discuss the recent results in the symposium. The members of The A3 Foresight Program are fully supported for the registration fee, hotel expenses, domestic travel expenses by the Japanese side of the A3 Foresight Program.
